Volunteer Research Assistance

You don’t have to search alone. Our knowledgeable volunteers are available on-site to assist both members and non-members with deep-dive enquiries regarding the history of the Yarraman district.

We routinely assist with research enquiries relating to:

  • Local families and pioneering history
  • Historic houses and heritage properties
  • Early town businesses and industries
  • Significant community events and milestones
  • Regional civic and military heritage

Location & Opening Hours

Where to Find Us: Located on the second floor of the main building.

Opening Hours: Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Important: To ensure a volunteer is available to guide you, bookings are strictly essential prior to your visit.

Enquiries, Fees & Guidelines

Research enquiries can be submitted by email, phone, post, or by visiting the Centre in person.

  • Research Services: Free for members | Up to $10 for non-members.
  • A4 Photocopying: 20¢ per page for members | 50¢ per page for non-members
  • Digital Image Copies (Email or USB): Free for members | Up to $10 for non-members
  • Photographic Paper Prints: $5 for members | $10 for non-members.
